Star Signposts: First Quarter Moon ~ March 24-30

Our New SolLunar Cycle takes place in sidereal Pisces, linked to Chiron, the Wounded Healer and potent Shaman. In the next three weeks, we will build healing bridges and open new lines of communications. In addition, old wounds still in need of emotional healing might re-emerge. Seek alternative modalities for healing (that are now quite acceptable, even mainstream) for lasting healing effects. Pisces prioritize’s our spiritual nature, that fundamental grounding. Commit to your daily practice. It will keep you sane in chaotic times.

We will also experience a blessed and blessing Neptune/Juno conjunction in Aquarius on March 27 (much easier on partnerships than 2017’s Pluto/Juno conjunction) that may connect you with your ideal partners on all levels. Neptune rules the power of your imagination to see in advance what you want to create and call it forth. Await the miracle with anticipation and appreciation.

During this week a tightening, tense conjunction of Mars and Saturn, will become exact on April 2. This aspect, which happens once ever two years, will make the upcoming Full Moon of this SolLunar Cycle particularly passionate, perhaps challenging.

MINI-READINGS: Consider a sidereal mini-reading with me for $44 (the number of living your Mastery on Earth). I will discuss where last year’s historic Total Solar Eclipse is taking place in your chart, along with other personal transits for 2018. You will get a whole lot of information! Please send me an email if that is of interest to you. Thank you!

I post twice a month, on the New Moon (which includes the two weeks of New Moon and First Quarter Moon) and on the Full Moon (which includes the two weeks of Full Moon and Last Quarter Moon). As you work with and within the natural flow of time and supportive cosmic energies of each unique SolLunar Cycle, life will flow with more ease and grace. My interpretations and predictions are based on the true sidereal astronomical alignments. You can read about my unique way of interpreting astrology at this link: EarthWord SkyWord sidereal readings. Even NASA is onboard now with the sidereal zodiac!

First Quarter Moon

“A Walk at Eventide” painting by Lucinda Abbe

Here’s a list of the First Quarter Moon characteristics compliments of my friend/sidereal colleague Nick Anthony Fiorenza ~ www.lunarplanner.com

“The First Quarter Moon of each lunar cycle draws an external stimulus to initiate action as we move from the inspirational quarter of the lunar cycle into the action quarter. Now is the time to drop all hesitation and take the steps to move forth on what you were inspired about…it is time to now participate in trust and knowing. Trust in the process. Demonstrate this trust in physical action and you will be supported. This time is stressful or traumatic only if action is ignored. Simply, this phase is a time to work.”

Sat March 24

First Quarter Moon: Sun in Pisces square Moon in Gemini square Mars in Sagittarius: This action-square of forceful Mars to the action-oriented First Quarter Moon pressures you to take your next big step in relationship to where your imagination has been leading you. I keep using the word ‘courage’ as that’s what the Cosmos is giving us to proceed forward in rapid forward movement. It pressures you to release all slothfulness (at times a Piscean quality) and move beyond indecisiveness. Another dimension of this aspect is Pisces’s ability to stay in a haze of denial while Sagittarius demands fierce and direct honesty.

Venus in Pisces quincunx Jupiter in sidereal Libra: Both these astrological signs value harmony, peace, cooperation. Jupiter in Libra is more expressive via language in expressing the need for connection, while Venus in Pisces prefers quiet meditation and silence to create a field of serenity and peace. The quincunx encourages you to know your own path while also honoring the another’s needs.

Sun March 25

Moon in Gemini opposite Pluto in Sagittarius square Mercury retrograde in Pisces: This aspect brings up the need to communicate (Moon in Gemini) obsessively (Pluto) about recent intuitions that have surfaced with the psychic Mercury Retrograde in Pisces. At times, both Gemini and Pisces have a hard time making decisions given the nature of duality present in both signs. Pisces’s glyph is two fish swimming in opposite directions and Gemini’s pictograph is the Twins, seeing in opposite directions. Today it’s wise to go with the energetic flow of conversation, exploring many options, perhaps not yet needing to make a decision.

Mars in Sagittarius quincunx Ceres in Cancer: This reasonably rare alignment calls for upgrading things of the past to their new form, especially on the home front. This might include anything from purchasing a new appliance, finding a new house mate, or making a decision to go forward (or not) on a remodel. It also presents a glaring contrast between those who feel more nostalgic about the past with those who are more excited about future possibilities.

Mon March 26

Moon/Ceres conjunction in Cancer: An unexpected gift of nurturance arrives out of the blue or you provide that blessing to another. (Thank you mysterious person ahead of me who paid for my Starbucks drive-through the other day! I’ll be paying that forward.) This aspect calls up cravings for comfort food. Partake without guilt and with pleasure. Toward midnight, as the Moon makes a monthly conjunction with the North Node, you can feel a sense of certainty about recent decisions in regards to home, security needs, family members, or realize it’s time to let go and trust in an unknown but beneficent future.

Tue March 27

Juno/Neptune conjunction in sidereal Aquarius: If you read my posts, you may recall how last year the asteroid of key partnerships and alliances, Juno, hovered near Pluto for a long time. This challenging alignment brought death, endings, transformation and uncertainty to key relationships. You were ready for a change and life brought that to you. Thankfully, now Juno aligns with spiritual, imaginative, uplifting Neptune and this promises to be more kind and inspirational with regards to our partnerships. Today’s alignment might coincide with an old friend returning to your life, or spark a desire in you to create an altar to call in the relationships you desire, be that a human, animal, or helper. This pairing can bring a new community of support into your life as well.

Moon in Cancer trine Mercury retrograde in Pisces: Easy conversations with family members can ensue, or you may have a flash of insight come to you about someone you care about. Follow through and reach out to them.

Wed March 28

Sun in Pisces square Saturn in Sagittarius: As the imaginative, mystical Sun in Pisces makes a square to vision-driven, focused Saturn in Sagittarius, you can feel pressured to take action and make a commitment to move forward. Saturn functions as the realist, so sometimes that feels like a harsh energy to sensitive Pisces. Notice any building tension or frustration in your body/mind/spirit and take steps to breathe, calm yourself, consciously relax. This will help you avoid injuries that Saturn sometimes brings to get our attention.

Venus/Uranus conjunction in Aries: This annual alignment can spark sudden romantic connections or you may feel an urge to flee a relationship. This aspect loves to take risks, be the first at something, and manifests as brand new trends emerging.

Thu March 29

Mercury retrograde in Pisces trine North Lunar Node in Cancer: Visiting a relative or friend and fondly reflecting on your shared history or dreaming up a new adventure together is a nice option today. Flashes of insight can come in a quiet moment about what your next best step is and what to say yes to.

Moon in Leo opposite Juno/Neptune in Aquarius: This is an aspect full of joy and creative possibilities, especially with the children in your life or a new/old best friend. Excellent for dreaming up new collaborations and projects.

Fri March 30

Venus in Aries trine Vesta in Sagittarius: Venus transits in our lives show up as focus on love interests, financial shifts, creative focuses. This uplifting trine to focused Vesta provides confidence, vision and forward momentum in all those arenas. Fire signs like movement, education, educating, adventure, so explore those possiblities today.

Moon in Virgo opposite Chiron in Pisces: This aspect pits your judgmental, critical, discerning side with your more forgiving nature. Helpful and healing solutions emerge if you align your critical thinking skills with your magical healing powers. Both/And.

Happy Full Moon tomorrow!
